In fact, several years ago the agency coordinated a worker’s compensation rating bureau meeting in order to properly assign classifications codes. We received over $300,000 return premium.
This would not have been possible without their guidance and expertise. What is amazing is that not only did James L. Smith Agency not benefit from the credit but resulted in reduced revenue. In 2004, our business was flooded from the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan. Two representatives from Smith Insurance arrived the next day to assist with the claims and cleanup. Skip Mayhew was at our office several times a week of the months following. The assurance that we have all the right coverage is invaluable. James L. Smith Agency looks after our best interest.
